One more Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park to be built | | A ground breaking ceremony for Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) Hai Phong will be held on January 13 in the Northern city of Hai Phong under the witness of prime minister of the two countries
This project is part of the Vietnam official visit of Singaporean Prime Minister, Ly Hien Long, according to the invitation of Vietnam's Prime Minister, Nguyen Tan Dung, from January 12 to 15.
Singapore is one of Vietnam's leading trade and investment partners and is Vietnam's third biggest trade partner. Till the end of September 2009, Singapore has nearly 800 FDI projects in Vietnam with a total registered investment capital of nearly $17 billion (actualized capital was $5.4 billion, accounting for 35%).
