Currently, smart cards are widely used in payments in the world. Therefore, in order to minimize the security risks in this area, service suppliers must comply with security criteria that MasterCard required. Located in the implementation plan on providing products - solutions of payment card to the EMV's standard, MKSmart Joint Stock Company (MKSmart) has deployed the application of the card production processes in accordance with security standards for payment card manufacturers specified by the Master Card.
At MasterCard manufacturing plant, MasterCard has evaluated and recognized infrastructures as well as security systems of the production area such as: tag, personalization, data entry, code card data, product packaging... as well as management processes are complied with the security standards for suppliers and card personalization.
According to Mr. Abraham Kee, the President of AGES organization, who authorized on the evaluation of MKSmart said: "We'd highly appreciated and satisfied MKSmart on making strictly and fully all requirements and standards of MasterCard, with this certificate, MKSmart has become a member of MasterCard organizations and is eligible to participate all the programs for issuers of MasterCard payment cards.”
